BEN CLARK
Pre-Voice: Ben took time out from his opera career to start a family and worried he had lost his touch.
How Delta has helped: She’s worked with Ben to diversify his song catalogue and pitted him against pop singers like Nathan Brake to challenge him and boost his confidence.
Result: “She’s really here to work – she’s here to get something out of you,” he says. “We have stage rehearsals and we have workshops, and mentoring sessions, and she was doing double duty. She was doing mentoring, and then sitting in on everything – she was doing more than she needed to do just because that’s the type of person she is. She’ll just rock up and be just her – she is so open and ready to accept new people into her life. Out of all the coaches, she knows how to win.”

TRENT BELL
Pre-Voice: Trent was once part of boy band. Now he’s ready to branch out on his own and Delta thinks he has what it takes.
How Delta Has helped: Trent’s issue was always having the faith to let his personality shine through his performances. Delta has helped him do this, tapping into his inner ‘Rock star’ and igniting his desire to succeed.
The Result: “I could tell from the get-go, Delta was really fighting for me,” says Trent. “I had no idea who I was going to pick – I was just going to take it as it comes. Delta knows what type of artist I am and Joe has been in a boy band too, obviously on a bigger scale, but Delta won it. We’re really gelling.”
JACINTA GULISANO
Pre-Voice: The ex-X Factor contestant has been trying to crack it in the music industry for years, even moving to LA for a time. She sees The Voice as her final roll of the dice.
How Delta has helped: Delta has worked with Jacinta on her confidence, reinforcing the notion that a promising career could still be ahead for her —if she wants it.
The result: “She’s so nurturing. I only turned two chairs, Delta and Boy George, and Delta said she wanted to work on my confidence, and I knew that’s what I needed to work on,” says Jacinta. “It feels incredible—I still can’t believe it.”
NATHAN BRAKE
Pre-Voice: Nathan has come a long way both personally and professionally since he appeared on Australian Idol back in 2009, finishing fourth in the competition.
How Delta Has Helped: Delta knew Nathan had a whole lot of untapped potential—that’s why she chose to ‘save’ him with her Wildcard Vote. She’s spurred him on to achieve more and he’s pumped for the ride.
The Result: Super fan Nathan wears a ‘Delta’ necklace to honour all that his mentor means to him. “This necklace symbolises my team and this entire journey,” he says. “[Delta’s] career spans 15 years now. I still remember getting that “Born To Try” single when it came out and I was a kid. To be able to go through this with her coaching is pretty special.”
