After the last of the battles last week, we were left with eight finalists taking on the semis, which lead to tough choices for the coaches and tight competition.

Rita Ora, Guy Sebastian, Jess Mauboy, and Keith Urban have now whittled their teams down to a finalist each, who are ready to take on the grand finale next Sunday evening.

Keep scrolling to find out who made it through.

Jordan Tavita for Team Guy

Guy was left with talented vocalist and pianist Cassidy Mackie and soulful singer Jordan Tavita representing his team.

Jordan gave an emotional performance of Foreigner’s classic I Want To Know What Love Is, which he dedicate to his Nanna.

“She took her last breath two nights ago,” he revealed. “I just know my Nanna is looking down at me right now saying you better come through, so I’m going to do this for her."

“My head is still spinning,” he admitted once he became the chosen finalist. “Guy, let’s get to work!”

Guy was the winning coach last year with contestant Bella Taylor Smith, so he’ll surely be hoping to back that up with another win with Jordan.

Thando Sikwila for Team Keith

Melbourne singer Thando was Keith’s chosen finalist over teenager Lane Pittman, winning over her coach with a rendition of Ariana Grande’s POV.

Keith had a difficult choice to make between the pair, seeming torn between them.

“You’re storytellers. You’ve both shown huge leaps of growth from the Blinds to here and I think for all of us coaches that’s the number one thing we are looking for: someone that is going to evolve and grow as an artist every step of the way. You have both done that equally. It’s extraordinary,” he told them.

“Thank you so much for believing in me,” Thando said to Keith.

“I cannot believe that I am the last woman standing on your team!”

Lachie Gill for Team Rita

PE teacher and former AFL player Lachie Gill took out the final spot on Team Rita.

He sang a captivating version of Olivia Rodrigo’s Déjà Vu, which won out over Xanthe Campbell’s abcdefu.

“He’s worked so hard. He steps it up a notch every single time. You’re everything one can look for in creating a superstar,” Rita said of Lachie.

“Every week a fire is burning. I just want to keep going and keep going. I have learnt so much but I am just having so much fun. I don’t want this to stop,” a thrilled Lachie said.

Faith Sosene for Team Jess

Powerhouse vocalist Faith Sosene proved she deserved her place in the grand final singing Listen by Beyoncé. While former Voice star Jael Wena (who competed on the show with her family in The Voice: Generations), put up a good fight singing Dua Lipa’s Don’t Start Now, the final place went to Faith.

“Wow,” she said, “it feels like a dream.”

The four finalists will now fight it out next Sunday night for the winning position, which will see them awarded $100,000 and a recording contract with Universal Music Australia.

We can’t wait to see who takes out the top spot!

You can catch The Voice finale next week on Sunday, May 29 at 7:30pm on Channel Seven and 7Plus.
