The differences between his experiences on The Voice and YTT don’t just come down to age. “The one thing that stands out as different between YTT and this – it wasn’t fighting for a spot,” he says. “I just got to go up on stage [on Young Talent Time]. This is not just a jam with your friends, you have to bring your A game. The stakes are higher.”
Since his appearance on the revived talent series, Aydan has kept in contact with his fellow contestants via social media. “But I haven’t seen a lot of them in a good couple of years,” he says. “A lot of them wouldn’t have changed too much because they were a bit older, but for me, I was really young and I had long hair and a fat face. It would be funny if they saw me now!”
