"It's fine. I don't mind, he was never going to wear a ring," she said. "I got him one but because he takes it off for the gym all the time, he lost the first ring I gave him after a month of wearing it."
"It was my brother. I don't want to throw him in the deep end but it was a gym incident involving my brother and a bit in his bag," he added as to why he keeps his finger bare. "Now I am super careful with that."
Their clarifying comments come three months after Anna was quizzed about the state of their relationship on the same program, dispelling split rumours when saying they're "totally fine".
"When you're confident in your relationship, it doesn't matter what people say," Anna said during a previous appearance on the popular Channel Seven breakfast program. "Tim and I, we're just better than ever."
Anna also discussed the drama that came with their somewhat awkward appearance at last year's Melbourne Cup, revealing she and Tim— who tied the knot in a stunning ceremony in Italy in 2018— attended the big day with separate brands meaning they were unable to spend time together.
"And I was at the races there, and I had to work. So, I probably didn't see him majority of the time. But we're definitely still together," she dished. "It doesn't really bother me. I'm happy with myself. I'm happy with our relationship. So they can write what they want. But it's rubbish really."
Tim also put split rumours to bed in December when he took to Instagram to gush over his beautiful wife after returning to Sydney following a lengthy stint in Melbourne where he films Neighbours.
"First day of holidays! 10 hrs of slumber and waking up as little spoon back with my wifey for 5 weeks... this be me eeeerrdaaay," he captioned the post.
Anna also shared another adorable snap with her shirtless hubby, captioning the post "Good to have this old fella home #homeforthesummer."
