After sharing a photo to Instagram showing himself cuddling up to Anna— who recently starred alongside the KIIS FM host in the pilot series, Trial By Kyle— one follower asked: "Does she get danger money for having to work with Kyle Sandilands? That’s the important question here."
Tim shadily responded: "Haha he's harmless... Kinda."
Now if that's not a subtle dig, I don't know what is!
Kyle sparked outrage a few weeks back when he launched an attack on the couple while appearing on The Project.
"This morning, I had her on my radio show, and I said: 'What's the deal with your husband living in Melbourne trying to be an actor on Neighbours?' and she said: 'He's signed for a year'."
After panellist Tommy Little laughed awkwardly, Kyle suggested he knew more about their relationship than he was letting on, implying the seemingly perfect couple's marriage is on the rocks.
"Hmmm... I feel there's trouble there," the 48-year-old continued. "No, no there's no trouble there," he then said, mimicking Anna."Watch that space. Something's going on!"
He proceeded to slam the couple the next morning, saying he was, once again, "worried" about their long-term relationship.
"I think that Tim has abandoned her with the move down to Melbourne for Neighbours. She's still living in Sydney, and that worries me. 'He's moved down there permanently and he's left her behind."
After his rogue comments made headlines, Anna brushed off split rumours, reassuring fans on Channel Seven's The Morning Show, that she and Tim are "totally fine".
"When you're confident in your relationship, it doesn't matter what people say," said Anna. "Tim and I, we're just better than ever."
Anna also discussed the drama that came with their somewhat awkward appearances at the Melbourne Cup, revealing she and Tim— who tied the knot in Italy last year— attended the big day with separate brands meaning they were unable to spend time together.
"And I was at the races there, And I had to work. So, I probably didn't see him majority of the time. But we're definitely still together," she dished. "To me it doesn't really bother me. I'm happy with myself. I'm happy with our relationship. So they can write what they want. But it's rubbish really."
