It's no secret Chris is a huge gym junkie and recently announced on social media that he'd launched an app that brings together what he says is a "community of health experts".
"I'm beyond grateful for the opportunities I've had and who I've been able to learn from and wanted to share that team with people on a global scale," he told The Hollywood Reporter when the popular app first launched.
Speaking to Men's Health about his passion for fitness, he said building and packing on muscle for his first Thor film was really challenging.
"The first eight months or so were brutal. Now, I feel like I could do it in eight weeks. It’s just down to muscle memory and smarter training. The knowledge you acquire is so important," said Chris who now resides in Byron Bay after a lengthy stint living in Sydney. "I was doing it completely wrong at first. Back then, I just ate huge steaks, chicken breasts and broccoli – and I didn’t feel great. These days, I eat a lot more plant-based foods, and I feel much better. I’m also more aware of listening to my body and resting."
