The trailer also shows Pitt's character interact with Bruce Lee (played by Mike Moh), while the film will also feature Damian Lewis as Steve McQueen and, in his final film role, Luke Perry as Wayne Maunder.
The release of the trailer comes just days after the official movie poster for Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood came under fire for what looked like excessive Photoshopping.
"I'm very excited to tell this story of an L.A. and a Hollywood that don't exist anymore," Tarantino has said. "And I couldn't be happier about the dynamic teaming of DiCaprio and Pitt as Rick and Cliff."
Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood will be released in Australia on August 15.
