I’ve got my own king-sized bed, kitchen, walk-in robe, laundry and double basins – all for myself. After a day of activities, I put on the plush white robe and slippers while I run myself a hot shower – I’ll be back for the two-person jet-spa bath later – before heading down to the fitness centre to fit in a quick workout before dinner.
When I return to my suite a few hours later, my bed has been turned down with blinds drawn and I have to resist the little chocolate treat left on my bedside table. Instead, I collapse into the king-sized cloud of a bed and spend the next eight hours dreaming about snow and s’mores.
The next morning, I head downstairs to fuel myself for the day ahead at the 7-8-8-0 Club in the residences. I help myself to the breakfast buffet, loading up a hot bowl of steel-cut oats with cranberries, granola, shredded coconut and fruit. The waitress pours me a cup of coffee so I’m well caffeinated for a day of skiing at Deer Valley Resort.
After breakfast, I swing past the ski locker room to get my boots on, before the staff load my ski gear into the shuttle.
I’m chauffeured to the mountain by one of the well-dressed drivers for my private ski lesson. I’m a beginner, so a little shaky on the slopes but for seasoned skiers, you can ski directly to Deer Valley Mountain from Steins via the Silver Dollar ski trail.
A few days later, I’m sad to be leaving. Luckily, I’m given a late check-out and sneak in one (or two) more s’mores by the fire outside as I soak in the mountain view one last time.

INDULGE
Tanger Outlets
For the full Park City experience, make sure to catch the free town bus to the Tanger Outlets and stock up on brands like Nike, Adidas and Calvin Klein while snagging a designer bargain at T.J. Maxx.
Waldorf Astoria Spa
No shopping day would be complete without a trip to the spa, so after being on your feet all morning, spend the afternoon relaxing and unwinding at the Waldorf Astoria Spa.
I indulged in a 50-minute signature massage before letting off some steam - literally - in the sauna.

WINTER ACTIVITIES
If skiing isn’t your thing or you’re not too confident on the slopes, Park City has a multitude of winter activities for all ages.
If you’re interested in exploring the area, fat tyre biking is a great way to get around. You can either rent bikes for the whole family and go out on your own adventure or do a guided ride.
Snowshoe tours of the surrounding mountains are also super fun if you’re after an active day out.
For the more thrill-seeking travellers, snowmobile tours of the Garff Ranch are great fun with incredible views of the surrounding Wasatch Mountains.
If that’s still not daring enough, head up to Utah Olympic Park and book yourself a bobsled experience on the exact track raced during the 2002 Winter Olympics.
STAY
Peaks Hotel
For more budget-friendly accommodation, the Peaks Hotel is centrally located in the city with a half-hourly shuttle to get you to and from main street and the Park City Mountain and Deer Valley Resorts.

EAT & DRINK
High West Saloon
If you’re after an all-American dining experience, look no further than Park City’s own High West Saloon.
Originally built as the distillery for its globally distributed whiskeys, High West is a local hot spot, and the world’s only ski-in whiskey distillery. Because of Utah’s alcohol licensing laws, you have to be 21 and over to enjoy the hospitality at High West however with more than 130 restaurants and bars in Park City, there’s no shortage of options.
Enjoy fireplace-cooked meats and fondue at Fireside Dining and grab a good old smashed avo on toast at the Australian-owned Five5eeds cafe.
