“(I’m) about half my size, I would say. I feel amazing, I feel absolutely amazing,” she said on Tuesday night, whilst walking down a beach in a swimsuit and sarong during the segment.
Tziporah detailed how her life started falling apart after engagement to billionaire James Packer in 1998.
“Instead of rich, famous and beautiful, I was sort of poor, hiding away and morbidly obese,” she told A Current Affair.
She tried numerous diets and quick fixes, including a failed attempt at lap band surgery, which she said “didn’t work” for her.
She said during her appearance on I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here in 2017 that she reached her lowest point and her weight sky-rocketed to 120kg.
Tziporah then detailed how she was told about the Little Forest Lifestyle Retreat, located 2.5 hours south of Sydney, which focuses on meditation and self hypnosis, as well as healthy eating and portion control.
“I was like, here we go again, more of this ‘hocus pocus’. But this actually has worked for me,” she said.
She engaged in therapy and “self hypnosis” at the retreat, with therapist Mark Stephens explaining the process of taking the “negative thoughts” and replacing them with positive thoughts.
On its website, the retreat states it will help people “reprogram negative thought patterns” and “release negative emotional baggage”.
