West Coast Eagles player Liam Ryan has been involved in a police incident, the club has confirmed.
In a short statement today, the club said the incident included a “minor traffic accident” and the club was still trying to find out how exactly he was involved.
“The club is ascertaining details of the incident which also involved a minor traffic accident which was attended by police,” the statement read.
“When the club has established the facts surrounding this matter it will release those details, but until then no further comment will be made.”
Ryan has made a promising start to his AFL career this season after making a name for himself at WAFL level as a high-leaping goal kicker for Subiaco.
He was drafted by the Eagles at pick No.26 last November and has kicked nine goals from six games for the club.
