Will there be a second season of Dead Ringers?
As of right now, there is no news on whether Dead Ringers will return for a second season. And, considering it’s been labelled a limited series from its inception doesn’t indicate much hope for a sequel.
That hasn’t put a stop to speculation among fans and critics alike, however, that a potential second season could explore the aftermath of the twins’ controversial choices. We’ll just have to wait and see.
What is the plot of Dead Ringers?
As per the synopsis, Dead Ringers follows twin gynaecologists Elliot and Beverly Mantle as they share everything: drugs, lovers, and a shared obsession with female anatomy that ultimately leads them to success and tragedy.
With an unapologetic desire to do whatever it takes – including pushing the boundaries on medical ethics – in an effort to challenge antiquated practices and bring women’s health care to the forefront, the series is a psychological thriller worth the watch.
Who is cast in Dead Ringers?
Rachel Weisz plays the double-lead roles of Elliot and Beverly Mantle in Dead Ringers, joined by Britne Oldford (The Umbrella Academy, American Horror Story: Asylum) as Genevieve and Poppy Liu (Hacks, Better Call Saul) as Greta.
The rest of the series’ ensemble cast includes Michael Chernus (Severance, Orange Is the New Black) as Tom, Jennifer Ehle (Zero Dark Thirty, Saint Maud) as Rebecca, and Emily Meade (The Deuce, The Leftovers) as Susan.
