Where will The White Lotus season three take place?
HBO, in partnership with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), released a statement to confirm filming for season three of The White Lotus is scheduled to begin in February in Bangkok, Phuket and Ko Samui.
Writer Mike White has always intended on heading to a brand new continent for the next season, after spending the first two seasons in North America and Europe, respectively.
"You know, we did Europe, and maybe Asia, something crazy like that, that would be fun," he previously told Deadline.
He later confirmed that season three would take place in East Asia and be a "satirical and funny look at death and Eastern religion and spirituality".
Who is in the cast for The White Lotus season three?
As with the location, speculation has been rife about who exactly would be starring in the new season of everyone's favourite series.
So far Parker Posey, Jason Isaacs, Leslie Bibb, Dom Hetrakul, Michelle Monaghan and Tayme Thapthimthong have been confirmed, as well as Carrie Coon, who stars in HBO’s The Gilded Age and The Leftovers.
Fans will also be pleased to know Natasha Rothwell will be returning to reprise her role as spa attendant Belinda – who you may remember from season one – which Variety revealed back in April 2023.
When does The White Lotus season three come out?
We're not sure yet! Season one debuted in July 2021 in Australia, while season two premiered in October 2022. But we wouldn't hedge our bets on season three following suit, as White has confessed he needs a holiday of his own first!
