The pair reportedly struck up a romance in December 2018, before calling it quits mid-2019. Shortly after their break up, Dustin was approached by the Daily Mail at a Bonds clothing launch and asked what his girlfriend "thought of the new gear.”
Dustin was said to have given the reporter a “death stare” before his manager stepped in to diffuse the situation.
“This is the real reason he was confused by (the) girlfriend question,” the source said. “Tania came down to Melbourne and stayed with Dustin the weekend he was suspended from the AFL and she was the reason he didn’t go to visit his dad.”
Prior to this, Dustin was in a relationship with Phoebe Carpenter, the ex-girlfriend of NRL Newcastle Knights halfback, Mitchell Pearce.
The interior designer (who looks eerily similar to Tania) was often referred to in social media posts as ‘Mrs M,’ despite living in a separate state to her beau.
‘‘Dustin likes interstate romances,’’ a source once told The Herald Sun.
In March last year, rumours were rife that Dustin was with bikini model and former Beauty And The Geek star Chontelle Berryman. They both have since denied these claims.
