It wasn’t long before she was hooked. “Vision worked for me because my personal trainer had 100 per cent faith in me and was confident that he would be able to help me.”
By her own admission, Field “was the most negative and scared person. I didn’t want to engage with other people in the studio, I was embarrassed about how I looked; how every time I did something I was puffing and red faced.”
But it soon got easier.
“In the beginning I didn’t participate in the group exercise classes, but over the months I did so more frequently, until eventually I became a regular at most classes!”
And it wasn’t just her activity levels that changed. Field began using the Vision Virtual Training app to track her food.
“At Vision, it’s reiterated that when it comes to weight loss, 30 per cent depends on exercise and 70 per cent relies on nutrition. To this day, I track my food religiously and am always honest about what I eat, because if I wasn’t, the only person I’d be cheating is myself.”
After changing her approach to food and learning to love exercise, Field says her whole quality of life has improved.
“My entire approach to food and nutrition has changed. I now look at food as fuel, and know that good nutrition equals a healthy body and mind. For this reason, I love breakfast because it’s always healthy and fuels me with enough energy to get through a busy day.”
As you can see from her photos, her tenacity and commitment has really paid off.
“I work extremely hard and have been given the opportunity to make myself a better and healthier person ... my journey has been truly life-changing. I feel years younger and confident in my own skin.”
