“It’s not cutting food groups, it’s not starving yourself on meal replacement shakes, it’s not hours and hours sweating it out in the gym. It’s wholesome, family friendly meals packed full of flavour. Think burgers, pastas, curries and even pancakes.”
As well as the food, Harbinson loves the support of The Bod Squad – a community of like-minded people all aiming for the same thing: a healthier life. Having previously being diagnosed with and treated for cancer, Harbinson was aware of a need to be kind to herself.“Being diagnosed with cancer changes you. You aren’t the same person you were before. In the thick of it all it’s a scary and dark road but once the fog lifts and you walk free of cancer you find a new lease on life.”
Last year she celebrated four years cancer- free, which is partly what keeps her going.
“When I first started The Bod I was committed to being kinder to myself and to nourish my body like it deserved, as it had been through a hell of a lot. The Bod not only gave me a healthy body, it gave me a healthy mind. I think that’s really important.”
