"What is going on? Um... okay... just hold on," expert John Aiken says in the teaser, hinting that he's in shock by who has shown up to the event as a couple.
In a quick flash in the trailer, production can be seen attempting to calm the contestants while Carolina can be seen sitting on the couch with Daniel. This proves they come to the Commitment Ceremony together - to the surprise of everyone else, apparently.
Throughout the trailer there are also quick snippets of Daniel wearing his teal coloured shirt; the same one he was wearing when John was reprimanding him in the "flash forward" teaser in the very first episode.
It also seems they'll ask to remain in the experiment as a couple, based on how the experts discuss "handling" the shocking situation.
"Does this normally happen?" our fave Alessandra Rampolla asks, since she's new to the whole "adulterous spouse" element of MAFS.
"Not this way, not like this," Mel Schilling responds in disbelief.
"I don't know how we handle this," John says. "I'm astonished."
While they claim to be unsure how to deal with things, it seems like they might allow the couple to remain in the experiment - much like Jessika Power and Dan Webb.
Daniel and Carolina were spotted together enjoying romantic date nights towards the end of filming in November, and we've only just passed the halfway point on our screens.
Even if they don't get to stay, there's plenty of proof they are still together now - months after the show wrapped up.
While there's been some intense gaslighting, name-calling and glass-smashing thus far on MAFS, John warns we ain't seen nothing yet.
"[The drama] hasn't stopped there. It's really only just begun and it's only going to get worse as the experiment goes on," he told The Today Show of the upcoming episodes.
"You've got to buckle up. If you're gonna watch the rest of this experiment, you've got to prepare yourself for some real explosive moments and curveballs."
