Morrison died of heart failure on Sunday, her publicist confirmed
Initially scheduled to appear in just one episode of Will & Grace, Morrison’s portrayal of Karen Walker’s long-suffering maid quickly became popular with fans and she ended up starring in the Emmy-winning show for 68 episodes.

Morrison was also known for her work on The Flying Nun, where she co-starred as Puerto Rican nun Sister Sixto alongside Sally Field from 1967 to 1970.
However, the talented actresses TV career spanned more than 50 years, with TV credits including Gunsmoke, The Partridge Family, L.A. Law and Murder, She Wrote, among many others.

Following the news of her passing, Morrison’s Will & Grace co-stars took to social media to express their sadness at her loss.
