"There was a moment when my morning routine was, like, get up and Google yourself," he explained. "But that stopped, dramatically and instantly, probably three years ago. I realized that viewing yourself through other people's pictures is not living your own life. I wasn't really being myself. A lot of my hobbies had gone out the window. I couldn't skateboard or surf for fear of being followed. Crossing the line of fear is what leads to greatness."
Efron has certainly come a long way in his three years of sobriety, starring in a handful of blockbuster films including Neighbors and Dirty Grandpa, not to mention maintaining his Hollywood heartthrob status.
The actor has become known (and loved) for his countless shirtless scenes that allow him to flaunt his insanely buff body. And while fans certainly aren't complaining about his frequent lack of shirts, turns out, Efron really isn't, either. In fact, he said he's willing to bare all if the role is worth it.
"Let's just say I'm not opposed to anything," he revealed. "But if you're gonna pull your d--- out, it'd better be for an Academy Award-winning movie."
