Fans of Zoë Foster Blake's novel turned television series The Wrong Girl are going to love this.
The author has shared a "super confidential" sneak peak into possibly (and hilarious) storylines for season two of the show, starring Jessica Marais as the main character.
"Super confidential sneak peek into the writer's room today, where we're working on season two of The Wrong Girl. DON'T TELL ANYONE YOU SAW THIS," Foster Blake, whose partner is comedian Hamish Blake, captioned the photo.
The author joked that the storylines could include; Pete (Ian Meadows) joining the circus, Lily (Marais) leaving Jack (Robert Collins) for Nikkii (Christie Whelan-Browne), Bernard (Ryan Shelton) becoming an MP, Jake and Dale (David Woods) starting a band, and Hamilton (Hamish Blake) getting fired for indecent exposure.
The Wrong Girl season one aired on Network Ten in 2016, and was renewed for a second season.
Marais told WHO last year that “I was lucky enough not to audition” for the role of morning-TV producer Lily Woodward. “I don’t think I would have done a very good job! I was certainly flattered when they asked if I would be interested. But thank goodness I didn’t have to audition. I’m terrible at it.”
