NRL star Sam Burgess declared his love for his pregnant wife, Phoebe, in a sweet Instagram post to mark their first wedding anniversary.
The Rabbitohs player can’t wait for the couple to become parents, with the imminent arrival of their first child expected any day now. He wrote, “A year to the day. Happy Anniversary to my legend wife @mrsphoebeburgess …. soon to be the best mum in the world. I cannot wait. Love you Xx”
Phoebe also posted two pictures from their wedding to celebrate their anniversary and captioned, “One year down and a lifetime to go 🌟 Happy Anniversary darling, love you @samburgess8“
After the couple’s pregnancy was leaked back in July, Sam confirmed the happy news in an interview with Nova 69.9.
The pair have been together since 2014 after meeting at an Avicii concert in Sydney.
