The new season has left many fans divided over character arcs, but we've still enjoyed being reunited with three of our four favourite New Yorkers. Even if Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) is "in London" and deserved a better send-off than a petty feud with Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker).
While there have been plenty of shocking moments throughout the revival - including Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) affair with Che Diaz (Sara Ramírez) - it's been nice to settle in with a group of familiar faces and fabulous fashion.
Taking fans one step closer to the action, the documentary special will pull back the curtain on how SATC was reimagined as AJLT more than 20 years after the original series premiered.
The documentary will include interviews with leading stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis, as well as writers, costume designers, producers, and crew – many of whom reassume their previous positions.
Featured interviews with cast and crew will also include Sara Ramírez, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Evan Handler, Nicole Ari Parker, Karen Pittman, Sarita Choudhury, Michael Patrick King, as well as And Just Like That… costume designers, Molly Rogers and Danny Santiago.
The documentary will take us behind the scenes of And Just Like That.
From documenting Cynthia's directing debut to showcasing the extensive wardrobe department, the documentary trailer promises to deliver on a "behind the scenes look" for die-hard fans.
"When someone yells action I just feel more... whole," SJP says of returning to the iconic role of Carrie. "Even 23 years in, I'm excited. I'm terrified and excited."
Meanwhile, Kristin spoke of welcoming fresh faces to the AJLT team.
“Getting to know our new cast members has just been a gift, and we all have something new brought to us by them,” she says in the documentary trailer.
After 23 years, SJP says she's still just as excited to play Carrie.
And Just Like That... The Documentary premieres on BINGE at 7pm on February 3, 2022.
