Bachelor in Paradise’s American Alex has revealed he’s no longer with Caroline, despite leaving the island together when the show wrapped in December.

Speaking to Ten Daily, the reality star called his time in Paradise a "fantastic experience" but confirmed "unfortunately" he had split from Caroline shortly after he returned home to the States, admitting they had "dated for a few months" but in the end "it just didn't really happen" for them.
"It wasn’t anything major, it’s not really like one thing that makes you fall for someone or not fall for them, it’s a compilation of a myriad of little things," he explained. "It wasn’t so much distance as we just decided that it was -- good but not great… along those lines."

However the hunky reality star remained positive about his time on the show, saying "it was an absolutely beautiful experience" and he loved getting to know Caroline.
"Nothing but positive things came out of it -- I have nothing but love and respect for the woman she is."
The American also touched on his relationship with Brooke Blurton whilst on the show, calling their chemistry "the most effortless connection [he] had there" and that they were "intrinsically drawn to each other from the get go".
