WATCH: Richie's ex-fiance Alex confronts Cass after he exits the show
Speaking to 10 Daily, when asked if he believed there were any real connections formed between his co-stars, he flat out said no way.
"That would be a real simple one: No."
Umm... ok then? I'm pretty sure he inadvertently just admitted that his romance with Cassandra Wood was all for show. We've been living a lie this entire time and I'm not here for it.
WATCH: Richie leaves Cass heartbroken... and she can't contain her emotions
Clarifying what he meant— more like backpedalling— the 33-year-old went on to say, "I don't think anyone's 'faking' a relationship, It's easy to spark a relationship— Whether or not that will last outside of paradise is a whole different kettle of fish."
On the most recent episode of the Network 10 series, Richie abruptly ended his relationship with Cass, admitting out of nowhere that he'd decided to move on with his life.
"When I came into Paradise I was really cautious about the steps I wanted to take with someone," he told Cass during the cocktail party. "I guess what I was looking for was, 'Can I trust this person? Do they like me for me?' and in every way, you certainly haven't let me down," he said.
Eventually, Richie admitted that the long distance element of Cass living in Sydney, and Richie living in Perth was playing on his mind, as he said he was fearful he was repeating the same mistake he made with Alex Nation on his season of The Bachelor.
Fortunately for Cass, she's found love since leaving Paradise, letting her followers know this morning that she's in a new relationship with professional footballer Tyson Davis!
I think it's time Richie throws in the reality TV towel... just saying.
