In a private message screenshot shared on Angie's Instagram Stories, Jess “apologised” for his “childish and disrespectful” behaviour, not before blaming the edit for what was shown and telling her to “move on with this [because] it’s not doing you any favours.”
The former reality TV star, who once stuck his tongue out near Angie’s leg during an episode of The Bachelorette, then went on to a list a series of problems in the world that are apparently worth more of a conversation - from “energy crisis” to “countries going at each other like it’s a war in a sandpit between children” - which led Angie to accuse him of "mansplaining" instead of really apologising.
Angie then kept the receipts and reminded him, “please don’t tell me what to do.”
“This isn’t just about you Jess. This is about all men - like I have stated one hundred times in my posts and stories,” she began to explain in a recent Instagram Story. “It’s just that your case popped up and watching you there saying it was all in the edit makes me sick because it wasn’t.”
“You made me uncomfortable. You made the crew uncomfortable. You even made the men feel uncomfortable."
Last week, the ABC reported that a Noosa Shire counsellor conduct tribunal fined the then-Noosa Shire councillor $5000 last week for his behaviour on the show in 2019.
"They referred to a lot of stuff in that tribunal report that [the show's producers] actually told me to do," he told the ABC.
"But moving forward, I don't hold the office of council anymore... and I really think there's no evidence to back this up."
