Cameron went on to explain the odd job, recalling a modelling assignment that saw the soon-to-be actress deliver a locked suitcase that contained her “costumes.”
After arriving at the Moroccan airport and being questioned about the contents of the suitcase, alarm bells started ringing for Cameron.
“What the f--k is in that suitcase?" she recalled thinking at the time.
"I’m like this blonde-haired blue-eyed girl in Morocco, it’s the nineties, I’m wearing torn jeans and platform boots and my hair down. I’m like this is really unsafe.”
Cameron revealed that was her “only job in Paris,” booking her breakout role in The Mask soon after.
“I was actually living in Paris when I got that job” Cameron revealed when speaking on her debut role as Tina Carlyle.
At 21, Cameron was put forward for the role by her modelling agent despite having no acting experience.
In the discussion with Hillary Kerr, Cameron also revealed the role was intended for Anna Nicole Smith, but the studio was looking for other possibilities.

Reminiscing on her time on set, Cameron laughed about her “on the job training” revealing that she hadn't even realised movies weren't filmed sequentially until stepping on set.
She also had great memories of working with the film's leading man, Jim Carrey.
“Jim was so great,” she divulged, “He wasn't this huge Jim Carrey star that he later became.”
Cameron made headlines in 2018 after announcing she was retiring from acting, following a successful movie career including Shrek, Charlie’s Angels and Annie.
In 2019, Cameron and her husband Benji Madden announced the birth of their daughter Raddix Madden.
This year, she is set to return to Hollywood, starring in Back in Action alongside Jamie Foxx.
