Whether you think of her as a nepo baby or the next big thing, Apple Martin is on our celebrity radar.
The daughter of actress and Goop founder Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin described her early years as “half backstage, half boardroom,” so it’s no wonder that she’s followed in her parents’ creative footsteps in the fashion and music scenes.
Fans can’t help but notice how much Apple is taking after her mother though. From her blonde locks and blue eyes to her penchant for pinching her mum’s dresses from the nineties, take a look at how the Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
The early years
Even from the early days, we all knew Apple Martin would be Gwyneth’s mini me.
In a sweet throwback photo that Apple shared back in 2022 for her Oscar winner mum’s birthday, the pair’s big blue eyes were on display.
“The coolest lady ever is also the birthday girl!!! I Love you mama ❤️ thank you for being my best friend,” the proud daughter wrote.

Chanel’s golden girls
Whether she was walking the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival or sitting front row, Gwyneth Paltrow’s love for Chanel has been well documented.
The actress penned a sweet tribute to Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld when he died in 2019 that read, “Dearest @karllagerfeld there will never be another like you. Thank you for your incredible contribution to fashion and wit.”
Her affinity for the luxury fashion brand was passed down to her daughter who, according to fashion journalist Derek Blasberg, met Karl at just four-years-old and the fashion designer “declared that one day she’d be a Chanel girl”.
Apple certainly looked like the ultimate Chanel girl at the haute couture spring/summer 2023 show in Paris in a black-and-white tweed skirt-and-jacket set by Karl.

Working together
Whilst the two have been spotted supporting each other on professional outings whether that’s at 2024’s Le Bal des Débutantes or at the Marty Supreme red carpet, the two have also worked together.
Apple and Gwyneth starred in GapStudio’s campaign in matching denim outfits, too good!
