Eagle-eyed fans noticed Angie Kent and Carlin Sterritt unfollowed each other on Instagram over the weekend, but now Angie has slammed claims that she and her Bachelorette boyfriend ever broke up.
On Sunday, fan account Bachie Funny revealed that former Bachelorette Angie and her boyfriend Carlin had unfollowed each other on Instagram, hinting they had broken up.
“Temporarily bringing this account out of hibernation to inform you love is f*cking dead. These two have now unfollowed each other on Insta aka the millennial way of announcing ya breakup,” the post was captioned, alongside screenshots seemingly confirming the two had unfollowed.
However, mere hours later it appeared the couple had re-followed each other, leaving fans stumped as to whether they actually broke up.
However, Angie herself has now weighed in on the unfollowing, labelling it as a “glitch in the system.”
“Leave it. If you don’t know, you don’t know,” she replied to a comment on the Bachie Funny page.
She also replied to a fan who said that “if you don’t 100 per cent know, don’t post.”
“Amen!!! And everyone got their happy ending when the show was on. Now it’s no one’s business. It’s my real life. So best people stay out of it unless they know for real what someone is going through,” she added.
Just days ago, Carlin also spoke out about break up rumours.
“It’s silly. Angie is just visiting home for a bit to change things up,” he told Daily Mail Australia.
“We’ve been in each other’s pockets enough over the past few months and family is important.”
Sunshine Coast local Angie relocated from the Queensland city to Sydney in February to be closer to Carlin, but they aren’t living together.
Despite the fact that neither Angie nor Carlin confirmed the break up, that didn’t stop fans from telling Angie that she should’ve chosen runner-up Timm Hanly.
“She should have picked Tim…,” one fan pointed out.
One even remarked, “@timmhanly was her true love that’s why.”
I think she finally realised @timmhanly is the one,” suggested another.
