The first trailer for A Simple Favour starring Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively is here, and it is giving us serious Gone Girl vibes.
Adapted from the thriller novel of the same name, A Simple Favour centres around Stephanie (Kendrick), a mommy vlogger who attempts to find out the truth behind her friend Emily’s (Lively) disappearance.
After becoming friends through their children, the glamorous and mysterious Emily goes missing after asking Stephanie for ‘a simple favour’.
“She’s an enigma, my wife,” Emily’s husband (Henry Golding) warns. “You never quite reach her. She’s like a beautiful ghost.”
A Simple Favour hits Australian cinemas on September 20 2018.
