Despite having her heart broken on national TV only to endure what she described as “three months of hell“, Abbie Chatfield hasn’t given up on finding the one.

In fact, the Bachelor runner-up said she’d been keen to continue her quest for love in front of the cameras, admitting she wouldn’t be opposed to being the next Bachelorette.
“I would love to be the next Bachelorette,” she told the Daily Telegraph. “But I think it’s a really hard gig because you’re basically by yourself … I’d definitely consider (it though), I think it would be lots of fun.”
While nothing is set in stone, the property analyst recently told her Instagram followers that she’d quit her job and is planning to move from Brisbane to Sydney— the city where the hit dating series is filmed.
A coincidence? I think not!
As for what the unlucky in love reality star is looking for in a man, she says they have to have a sense of humour!
“I don’t have a type at all. Every guy that I’ve dated is completely different in age, appearance, background and job,” she said. “I want someone who’s smart and empathetic and can make me laugh.”
Her comments come less than a month after fans were left convinced the 24-year-old had moved on from Matt Agnew after photos emerged showing the TV star making out with Ali Oetjen’s Bachelorette runner-up, Todd King. The pictures showed the pair holding hands, kissing in the ocean and cuddling up while tanning. They were later spotted enjoying a romantic dinner date.
While they were spotted getting cosy on more than one occasions, Abbie has since shut down dating rumours, admitting they’re nothing more than mates— who like to kiss in front of the paparazzi…
“No, we’re not dating. We had like, one weekend in Brisbane and it’s been drawn out,” she told the outlet. “He’s great but he lives in Perth and just got into the police academy so he’s not moving [and] I’m not moving to Perth.”
