Daniel Ezra and Taye Diggs may be cast in All American, but the eye-candy isn’t the only reason STAN‘s new show is worthy of your viewing time this weekend.
The teen drama is inspired by a true story, it follows promising footballer Spencer James (Ezra) on his move from a ghetto town of South Crenshaw to upper-class suburbs of LA.
The teenager has been spotted by Beverly High’s Coach Baker (Private Practice’s Diggs) who has personal reasons for offering him a spot on his flailing team. Spencer’s transition from local hero to the unwanted ring-in at the new joint isn’t going to be easy!
The show scores an touchdown from us, especially after Episode 1’s cliffhanger ending.
