Alright, we know the headline kind of spoiled it already, but if you don’t want any more spoilers from the midseason premiere of Riverdale, leave now.
After a month-long hiatus, Riverdale came back last night that has left viewers absolutely shook.
Episode nine, titled “No Exit,” shows a whole lot of drama that we can’t actually deal with. Most importantly, Archie seems to have died.
At the beginning of the episode, Archie is hiding away in a remote forest. In that same forest, he gets attacked by a bear. Trying to bandage himself up, he eventually goes into a hallucinogenic state from losing too much blood.
In the weird state he’s in, he sees Cassidy Bullock, and the rest of his dead friends. They invite him to play Griffins & Gargoyles, which ends up being a weird game of his past. He has to return to his father’s shooting, which he originally just witnessed. This time, he tackles the Black Hood, and kills him.
After hallucinating for like 45 minutes, he is found unresponsive by park rangers who are trying to save him.
IS HE DEAD?
We really doubt it.
So what else happens in the episode?
Well… Betty becomes a den mother to a bunch of orphans, after breaking them out of Sisters of Quiet Mercy.
Veronica and Reggie finally make out.
Jughead kicks his ass into gear as Serpent King again and threatens them when he finds out one of his own is selling Fizzle Rocks.
Wild.
