Bethenny Frankel is reliving her college days this Throwback Thursday.
The Real Housewives of New York star took to Instagram, letting fans in on her life before the spotlight, as she shared an old photo looking almost unrecognizable.
“Oh hey college dorm. Thx Alyssa Silverstein for this #tbt,” Frankel, 45, captioned the photo of her room, presumably at New York University, from which she graduated with a degree in communications and psychology.
In the snap, a cheeky looking Frankel is the picture of late eighties fashion, with voluminous curly hair.
Following her college years the reality star moved to Los Angeles where she hoped to be an actress. While trying to make her big screen dreams come true, Frankel worked as a nanny to Hollywood hotshots, including a close relative of another Real Housewives cast member.
“I’ve known Kyle [Richards] for years,” Frankel told E! News about the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star. “I used to work for Kathy Hilton and take Paris and Nicky to school and so I knew them through Kyle.”
