The beloved Australian actress— who’s played Bea Nilsson in the soap since 2018— is reportedly leaving the popular Aussie series to pursue a career in music and is planning to compete in Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions.
The Australian star won Australia’s Got Talent in 2007 when she was 12-years-old, qualifying her to compete in a battle against other winners of the series from all over the world.
According to The Sun, the 24-year-old is expected to be a hit on Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions.
“Bonnie is going to add some glamour to the show and she’s more than capable of doing well in the competition, especially with Neighbours fans on her side,” a source close to the star told the outlet.
Although she rose to fame after winning the talent show, the brunette beauty reportedly turned down recording contracts to return to school in 2007, shying away from the spotlight for years after filming wrapped.
“Getting thrown into the limelight at such a young age can be difficult, so for me it was important to just take my time,” she revealed of why she spent several years out of the music scene.
Bonnie played the role of Beatrix Nilsson, the half-sister of Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta) and Jackie Woodburne (Susan Kennedy).
With filming for the new season of Britain’s Got Talent expected to begin on Wednesday, Bonnie will be leaving Neighbours sooner than you might think.
