They were the young couple getting married against the odds but it seems Brad and Courtney couldn’t cope it in the end.
After going against Courtney’s wishes and enjoying a buck’s party, Brad copped abuse from his wife-to-be after she previously warning him that if he saw strippers or spoke to any girls, the wedding would be called off.
Despite Brad only hanging out with his mates, Courtney believed he was spending time with other girls. After inundating Brad with texts and phone calls, demanding if he didn’t leave immediately, the marriage would be cancelled, Courtney went to Kings Cross to have it out with her fiancé.
“Why are you trying to embarrass me?” Courtney screeched, before adding, “All I know is that I got lied to.”
Adamant there was funny business going on, Courtney and Brad had a massive blow-up resulting in Brad calling the wedding and relationship going off.
“I’m not going to cheat on you, I’m going to marry you,” Brad exclaimed. “If you don’t trust me still, after five years, then that’s it, we need to split.”
Filled with emotion and rage, Courtney struggled with Brad’s approach but Brad continued on.
“Listen to me, the marriage is off,” he said to Courtney, later adding to the camera, “I think my mum will be quite pleased with that.”
Brad believes jealousy and age are to blame for their relationship’s demise.
“I am a free man. I’m happy about it but I’m also sad as well,” Brad explained. “Is this who I want to be with my whole life? To be controlled? I could’ve been 20 and divorced!”
