After praising her co-hosts Waleed Aly, Peter Helliar, Lisa Wilkinson, Hamish Macdonald, Tommy Little and Gorgi Coghlan, the glowing mum-of-three— who donned a gorgeous red gown— awkwardly admitted to disliking the first episode of the popular Australian talk show.

“The first episode of The Project was terrible,” Carrie admitted, “but ten years later and it’s still going strong!”

This month, Carrie— who won the TV WEEK Gold Logie Award for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television last year— was awarded an Order of Australia Medal of service from the Queen, as part of the Queen’s Birthday Honour‘s. The OAM was presented to Bickmore for her incredible service to broadcast media and brain cancer awareness.
