MasterChef favourite Andy Allen has shared that he and his wife, Alexandra, are expecting their first baby.
The beloved chef and TV personality revealed the announcement with a heartfelt post that instantly sent fans, friends and fellow foodies into a frenzy of excitement.
The couple, who wed in an intimate ceremony surrounded by close family and friends in October 2022, and have always kept their relationship relatively low-key.
But when it came to sharing this milestone, they didn’t hold back.
In the photo shared with the announcement, the pair looks overjoyed.
“We’ve been cooking up something pretty special. Welcoming a little duckling in April!” the post read.
Friends and colleagues from the MasterChef universe were quick to jump in with congratulations, filling the comments with well-wishes, heart emojis, and jokes about how lucky this baby will be to grow up with a chef for a dad.

While the pair haven’t yet revealed the due date or whether they know the baby’s gender, fans are already predicting that their little one will be “the future MasterChef junior champion.”
