In today’s society, nothing gets the internet sleuths and TikTok decoders more interested than a prospective celeb baby name.
Sure, the celebrity pregnancy announcement itself is exciting, but as more and more celebs keep their chosen moniker out of the public eye (hello, Kylie Jenner), guessing future nepo baby names has become a sport of its own, with audiences going to great lengths to correctly suss out the baby names chosen by their favourite celebrities.
It comes as no surprise then, that when Hailey and Justin Bieber first announced their pregnancy in May 2024, fans jumped right into the baby name guessing game.
From investigating Instagram posts, digging up past interview quotes, pouring over family trees to good old guessing, it’s safe to say fans can get very into decoding any hints the prospective parents may drop (whether intentional or not) – and for Hailey and Justin, it’s no different.
While we will have to wait a bit longer to see what the Hollywood couple will officially name their first child, we’re rounding up the most popular fan theories.
What is the name of Hailey and Justin Bieber’s Baby?
In May 2024 PEOPLE reported the expectant parents had already picked out a name for their first child.
A source told the publication: “They will be great parents, and Justin will be super involved. This will be the next important project for him. He’s so excited to raise his baby. They have a name that they think is perfect. They’re also starting to decorate a nursery. They can’t wait to meet the baby.”
Although we know the parents have a name in mind, they’ve kept very quiet on any details – but that hasn’t stopped fans from guessing!
Nameberry‘s Bieber baby predictor, Sophie Kihm, took to TikTok to throw some potential options into the mix, telling audiences she’s “going all in on spiritual word names” with a connection to Christianity. Some of her guesses include Calvary, Hallow, Kindred, Lumen, Anthem, Crux, Kingdom and Zeal.
Another popular theory is Drew. “I’m calling this,” Mikayla Vallati said in a TikTok of her own. “Justin and Hailey Bieber are going to have a girl and they’re going to name her Drew. And it’s going to become the most popular girl’s name ever.”
Some fans have jumped onto the far-fetched theory that Hailey and Justin will name their child Blosson, believing Hailey’s Instagram post caption that references a “little cherry blossom in my belly” is proof that the couple are having a daughter and naming her Blossom.
