No-one in their wildest dreams would ever have imagined that Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner would become an A-list couple – they seemed to come from two different planets.
So, when news that Kylie was dating the Dune star, it’s fair to say that many heads were scratched in confusion and after seemingly disappearing from the spotlight, fans are dying to know if Timothée and Kylie are actually still together.
Are Kylie and Timothee still together?
Rumours of a breakup emerged in early 2024 when the pair started to appear less frequently in public together, but it seems nothing is further from the truth.
Ahead of the release of Timothée’s upcoming film, A Complete Unknown, Kylie was spotted by fans alongside mum Kris Jenner at the premiere, and while they weren’t photographed together, her presence at the event led fans to believe that they are still going strong.
Addressing the rumours in July 2024, sources speaking to Entertainment Tonight claimed that the couple were very much still together.
‘’Kylie’s family thinks that Timothee is balanced, dedicated, successful and a family man. They love how he treats her and everyone she cares about,” the source said.
‘’He loves her so much and is respectful to her entire circle. Things are blossoming between them more and more every day.’’
The source added that the pair were trying to keep their relationship as ‘’normal’’ and ‘’low-key’’ as possible, giving it time to grow away from the glare of the public spotlight.
‘’They like to have alone time and spend time with Kylie’s family and each other’s friends. They cook at home, go to dinners, travel when they can, play board games, and are just their authentic selves together. They are both honest with each other, and there isn’t any void of communication.’’
Why did Kylie and Travis break up?
Before her romance with Timothee, Kylie was dating rapper Travis Scott.
While they haven’t spoken publicly about the breakdown of their relationship, the pair reportedly parted ways at the end of 2022 after five years together.
Shortly after news of their split broke, a source told People the beauty mogul was now “very focused on her kids and her business’’ – attributing their breakup to a difference in lifestyles.
“She is not a big partier. Travis is the opposite. He likes to party. They definitely have different focuses. They always did.’’
Despite parting ways in 2022, Kylie and Travis continue to co-parent their two children, Stormi, 6, and Aire, 2.
