Married at First Sight’s Martha Kalifatidis is taking fans along for the journey as she undergoes breast explant surgery, keeping audiences up to date with her experience, recovery and even sharing her ‘one regret’.
The 36-year-old mother of one recently underwent the two-and-a-half-hour procedure which reportedly cost around $15,000. Taking to TikTok the day after her surgery, Martha revealed she was feeling “really good.”
“I had my breast implants removed yesterday,” she told viewers, “I have no pain – there is literally no pain whatsoever, it’s blown my mind. I would have done this so much sooner if I had known how easy it is.”
The lengthy video also saw the star share a message to those weighing up the surgery.
“I wish I had done this years ago. If you are thinking about getting breast implants think long and hard about it,” she explained. “If you’re young, just wait until you’re 25 and if you still want to do it at 25, go and do it.
“I wish I never got mine in – so food for thought.”
Martha also explained why she had her implants removed, telling her audience she had begun thinking about the process around three years ago.
“I had a feeling that I just wanted them out,” she continued. “Around three years ago I just became so aware of them inside me.”
“I ended up falling pregnant so I couldn’t get them out then,” she continued. “Even though I still want to have kids, I just wanted them out.”
Martha’s husband Michael Brunelli also shared his ’emotional’ reaction to the surgery, joking in a video that he was “saying goodbye to my two best friends.”
With Céline Dion’s ‘My Heart Will Go On’ playing in the background, Michael jokingly gestured to her breasts writing: “I’ll never forget you both”.
