An eagle-eyed royal watcher has sent fans into a tailspin over Baby Sussex’s name.
A fan account on Instagram has claimed Meghan and Harry could opt for the name Mary.
Posting a quote from an old interview, @harry_meghan_updates reminded followers that Meghan once revealed she planned to gift her daughter a Cartier watch she purchased after learning Suits had been commissioned for a third season.
And she may have revealed her future daughter’s initials, too.
“When I found out Suits had been picked up for our third season – which, at the time, felt like such a milestone – I totally splurged and bought the two-tone version [of the watch]. She told HELLO in 2015.
“I had it engraved on the back, ‘To M.M. From M.M.’
“And I plan to give it to my daughter one day.
“That’s what makes pieces special, the connection you have to them.”
With Meghan revealing the £4,800 watch would be “to M.M” royal fans think this could indicate the royals will name their baby Mary – if it turns out to be a girl.
