Shailene Woodley is having her Emily in Paris moment. The 33-year-old recently debuted her secret romance with the hit show’s star Lucas Bravo, with the pair taking a loved-up stroll in the French capital on March 23.
While there wasn’t a beret or high heel in sight – the pair instead both opting for comfy and casual looks – there seemed to be plenty of magic in the air. Woodley and Bravo, 37, smiled and laughed their way through the streets of the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district – stopping to share a hug before heading off again hand in hand.

The pair looked very comfortable in each other’s company, although there still remains a big question mark over when they started dating.
Woodley, who was most recently spotted out with a mystery man in New York City last August, was previously engaged to NFL star Aaron Rodgers, before they parted ways in 2022.
Although it was hailed as a whirlwind romance at the time, Woodley told Outside magazine last December that her split with former fiancé Rodgers left her feeling “like I lost my soul, my self, my happiness, my joy”. The actress added, “I haven’t shared much about my relationship with Aaron because it always makes me cry. It was not right. But it was beautiful.”
Meanwhile, Bravo also recently got out of a long-term romance, revealing last year that he had split with an unnamed actress after three years together. “You’re in different countries, and then you have 24 hours to reconnect,” he told C magazine of the relationship. “It’s so much pressure to be the best version of yourself. Every gesture is overinterpreted. To stay sane in the industry you need to turn it off, which isn’t easy when you’re with someone else in the industry.”
Woodley has also previously spoken about the pressure of dating someone in the public eye. “It honestly never really hit me that millions of people around the world were actually watching these things and paid attention to them,” she shared to Porter of her relationship with Rodgers.
“Then I dated somebody in America who was very, very famous. It was the first time I’d had a quote-unquote ‘famous’ relationship, and I watched [the] scrutiny, opinions, the desire for people to know my life and his life and our life – it just felt violating in a way that, before, it was fun.”
Despite their reservations about being involved with someone well-known, it seems Woodley and Bravo couldn’t resist the spark between them – with their Parisian stroll appearing to confirm a blossoming romance. And while Bravo certainly seems to be Woodley’s cup of tea thanks to his resemblance to ex-Rodgers, the French actor has shared that he doesn’t “have a type”.
“I like that ‘instant connection, ’” he told Elle Australia in 2020. “Sometimes, you just run into someone, you look at this person in the eyes, and in an instant, in a second, so much is said. There’s an entire conversation going through each other’s eyes in an instant, and you feel like you’ve known the person, or the person knows you – it’s the connection I’m looking for.”
