From career girly moves to bestie blunders and an all-too-juicy love triangle (well, maybe now love-square), the fourth season of Emily in Paris served us with an ample amount of drama and rom-com angst and after that final episode, fans are dying to know what happens next for Emily in Rome.
Fortunately for fans, Emily will continue to live her best Lizzie McGuire Movie life in Rome for another season, with Netflix confirming that the series will be returning for a fifth season.
“We’re thrilled with the incredible response to this season of Emily in Paris and excited to return for a fifth to continue Emily’s adventures in Rome and Paris,” series creator Darren Star told Netflix’s Tudum.

What is Emily in Paris Season 5 about?
Okay, we’ve only just finished binge-watching the fourth season of Emily in Paris, but thanks to our leading lady Lily Collins, we know a little bit about what will go down in the upcoming season.
Giving the inside scoop to Tudum, Lily gave us a few hints about the next chapter in Emily’s tumultuous love life following the introduction of her new beau Marcello, played by Eugenio Franceschini.
“Marcello is a whole other adventure that we want for Emily because we ultimately want Emily to have a better work/life balance. We want to have Emily be able to smile without condition. We want to see her beyond her vacay mode, and he comes at that perfect time.”
“I feel like they have a real spark and a really connect and a real romantic connection. A lot of that’s going to continue to play out next season,” she continued.
When is Season 5 of Emily in Paris coming out?
We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the release date for Emily in Paris Season 5 has yet to be confirmed.
Given that the previous two seasons of the Parisian drama dropped in the latter half of the year, we can anticipate that the series could potentially make its return to our screens in late 2025 or early 2026.
As we count down the days until we can say “Buongiorno, Emily” again, we’ll be sure to keep you posted on any updates!
