Serena Williams finally confirmed to her army of followers that she was on her way to the royal wedding as she took to her Instagram dressed in a towel. The star, who met Markle in 2014, kept fans guessing until today as to whether she was attending but in a clip on social media revealed.
‘Hey y’all, so my friend’s getting married today. I’m up super early, well, for me.
‘I’ve known her for so many years and I’m so happy for her.’ She posted several instagram stories wth her daughter Alexis Olympia and hubby Alexis Ohanian, 35, showing her prep for the big day.
And she wasn’t the only one who was getting excited. Aussie superstar Rebecca Gidney share a throwback shot from WHO with the caption ‘in honour of the wedding that I won’t be able to watch on the telly tonight because hubby and son will ban me from the remote’.
‘Happy Wedding H & M’ she added.
Sylvia Jefferies, Tiffany Hall and Renee Bargh all posted photos of themselves in royal-style poses. Bargh, who works in LA, giving a royal wave with the hashtag #royalwedding.

Meghan’s Suits co-star Patrick J. Adams – who is definitely going – shared a Instagram snap of Meghan Markle on the cover of a newspaper on Saturday morning UK time.
The 36-year-old actor captioned the image: ‘I’m beginning to think she might not actually be out getting milk’.
