Chris Hemsworth’s twin sons have made a rare red carpet appearance with him and wife Elsa Pataky for the Sydney premiere of the new Thor movie.

Stepping out in style on Monday night, Sasha and Tristan, both eight, were looking suave in button-down shirts, pants and sneakers.
Sasha wore his hair long like his dad’s superhero character, Thor, and paired a blue blazer with his white shirt, while Tristan was rocking a pair of designer Boss shoes.
They were photographed holding their parents’ hands as they walked the red carpet for the new Thor: Love and Thunder movie, the latest in the Marvel film franchise.
It was a rare public outing for the twins, as Chris and Elsa work hard to protect their three children – including daughter India, 10 – from the spotlight.
“The exploitation is something I’m very wary of. We’ve been offered things like, ‘advertise such-and-such and have dinner with your family,” Chris told GQ magazine in 2018.
He said “there is no way” he would do that, but sometimes it’s hard to avoid the spotlight when you’re a famous actor – especially during school pickup.
Thor co-star Natalie Portman told Jimmy Kimmel last week that Chris was constantly being recognised when picking up his kids from the school her children attend in the US.
“One day, we ended up at school pick up at the same time and I just felt so bad for him,” she said. “Because I’m small and can kind of camouflage with the mums. And then he comes in, he’s like a Greek god walking through.”
She revealed that the Aussie star even tried hiding behind a tree to avoid being spotted, which Natalie said “felt like some weird sitcom of the superheroes at school pickup.”
Chris and Elsa also tend to keep their children’s faces hidden when they post family photos to Instagram to protect their privacy.
But that doesn’t stop the pair from sharing a cute Instagram update every now and again, like one Elsa posted in April of their daughter.
Posing together on a boat, it was impossible to ignore just how much India already looks like her stunning actress mum.
Meanwhile Sasha and Tristan seem to take after their star dad, inheriting his blue eyes, sandy blonde hair and cheeky smile.
The kids rarely accompany their parents on the red carpet and Elsa and Chris attended the LA premiere of the new Thor film solo, turning it into something of a date night.
“Such a fun night at the Thor premiere in LA. So great to see all the people having fun, I think it’s my favourite Marvel film yet,” Elsa wrote on Instagram alongside snaps from the night.
And, proving she’s just like the rest of us, she added cheekily: “Check out my husband’s bum July 8th.”
