Diane Kruger is embracing her new single life.
Kruger, 40, split from her longtime beau, Joshua Jackson, in mid-July after 10 years together. In the weeks following their breakup, the actress said she is keeping a positive outlook.
“It’s all good … all good,” she told WHO at the Chopard and Cinema Society debut of Disorder on Tuesday in New York City.
Kruger said she isn’t dating anyone at the minute – but that doesn’t mean she isn’t open to the possibility of new love.
“If you have a suggestion, let me know?” she joked with reporters.
Following the split, Kruger jetted off to Sri Lanka for a tropical “work-cation” to film a new commercial.
“My best friend [Fabienne Berthaud], who directed Sky was directing the commercial,” said. “So it felt like at least we got to hang out. It was beautiful. I’ve never been, and it was great.”
Kruger shared photos of her envy-inducing getaway on Instagram, showing off the exotic scenery and numerous fun activities.
“Every day there were at least two-hour drives to go to different locations,” she said. “They have beautiful resorts, but I went pretty basic. It’s definitely not comfortable. But the people are amazing, and if you like the food, I would definitely recommend it.”
And after months of hard work, the actress is looking forward to taking some downtime to relax.
“After tomorrow, I’m on vacation,” she said. “I’ve been filming for the last four months, so I have the month off, so I’m literally going to do nothing and get fat.”
So where will she jet off to next?
“I don’t know yet,” she admitted. “I want to visit friends who I never get to see. I have some in Miami, different places.”
As for a final word to describe her upcoming trip? She said it simply makes her feel “free.”
