Amid a list of stars who “could be” set to perform, Ian is mentioned in second place, behind actress Rebel Wilson.

He “may have traded the pool for a prawn mask … the only issue is that at a whopping 196 cm, the Thorpedo may be a little too tall to fit in Prawn’s shoes,” the hint reads.

It is unknown if Ian can actually sing, but surely being able to hold his breath for that long in water should help?

Lindsay Lohan joins Dannii Minogue, Jackie O’ Henderson and Dave Hughes as celebrity judges, and the show is hosted by Bachelor star Osher Gusnberg.

Performing dressed as a giant animal might also help him take his mind off his split from partner, Ryan Channing.

In January, things appeared to be going swimmingly for the pair, but in July, Ryan confirmed that they had parted ways after four years together.

Ryan, a businessman and a former model, has spoken out in response to rumours that the reason for their split was that Ian, 36, changed his mind about starting a family with Ryan.

“There has been talk Ian wasn’t ready for a family,” Ryan told WHO. “I can’t comment on his behalf, but that was never a discussion as to why we were separating. It was more around the busy lifestyles we lead now, and the fact it was hard to manage the relationship with the travel schedules we have.”

Ryan is pushing ahead with his goal of becoming a father – without Thorpe.

“It’s going ahead without Ian,” he confirms, adding he’d “love to have a little boy”.
