Disney’s Lilo and Stitch is getting it’s very own live action movie

Disney is turning their animated classic Lilo and Stitch into a live-action movie!

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Mike Van Waes is writing the rebooted film with Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich is set to produce the production.

Lilo & Stitch isn’t the first Disney remake, with the company already licensing Cinderella, Pete’s Dragon, The Jungle Book, and Beauty and the Beast. Next year though, avid fans will see the release of Dumbo, Aladdin, The Lion King. PLUS, we can expect the Mulan movie which is scheduled for 2020, too.
