Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge is ready to up the ante.
The 37-year-old is ready to take the Designer Duchess crown, after recruiting her long-time friend, a former Vogue editor, Ginnie Chadwyck-Healey to be her stylist.
According to style commentator, Alexandra Shulman, Kate “couldn’t find herself in better hands.”
In a column for Daily Mail, Alexandra says of the professional partnership, “We have already seen the Duchess in slightly more fashion forward styles in recent months, demonstrating a new confidence in playing with her clothes.”
And it’s wondered whether her sister-in-law, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex‘s penchant for all things designer might have something to do with her decision to employ the expert, who has her looking her best yet!
“This may partially be thanks to Ginnie, but might also be the result of having seen her sister-in-law, the Duchess of Sussex, seemingly less hidebound by established Royal style and definitely not feeling the need to court favourable public opinion by dressing inexpensively.”
“What’s for sure,” said Alexandra, “Is that Ginnie, with her easy manner, big smile, natural discretion and wealth of experience is a real pro rather than a limelight seeking amateur. The Duchess couldn’t find herself in better hands.”
We look forward to the monarchy’s future fashions!
