Just days ahead of The Bachelorette finale, Elly Miles faced rumours that her chosen winner Frazer Neate was cheating on her and that they had already broken up.
But in an Instagram Q&A with her beloved big sister Becky, the 25-year-old reality star slammed all that gossip by confirming that she and her Queensland-based boyfriend are still going strong and will be reunited in person in the coming months.
Elly, who currently lives in Newcastle, revealed in response to a fan’s question: “We are still together and I am going to move to Queensland in January, that’s the plan.”
However her fellow Bachelorette wasn’t as happy about the big move.
“Exciting for you, not so exciting for me cause I’m going to stay in Newcastle,” Becky mused.

Former Bachelorette also answered a question from a fan about her runner-up, Joe Woodbury and if they were still friends.
“I wouldn’t say we were back to being ‘friends friends’ like we were before the show,” Elly admitted.
“I haven’t seen him since or anything but we have reached out to each other, I wanted to reach out and check in on him and see how he’s doing, and I did that after the finale aired and he wrote back a really lovely message.”
Elly added: “I have no doubt that we can hopefully be friends in the future. Him and Frazer are really good mates – they chat every day, they want to catch up and I feel like we’re adults, we’re mature about things. If Joe wanted to be my friend, I’d say ‘Let’s be friends’.”
Becky then revealed that she had seen her sister’s runner-up at the supermarket and revealed she’d given him a hug and that he seemed to be doing “really well.”
“It was so nice to see him, he’s such a happy beautiful man,” the 30-year-old said.

In a previous chat with Who shortly after the finale, Elly weighed in on the cheating rumours that first arose when screenshots emerged of a series of direct messages between Frazer and an unknown woman.
“It’s funny,” Elly exclusively revealed.
“People will try and cause trouble and make something out of nothing. Frazer’s got friends that are girls, I’ve got friends that are guys. That’s just the way it is.”

Though they’re currently in different states, with restrictions easing, Elly and Frazer have managed to catch up since their finale went to air.
“We were able to find a couple of COVID loopholes so that we could see each other without Frazer or myself having to quarantine,” Elly said.
“The borders also started to open up a little bit so we could go to Byron Bay and have a bit of a getaway, which was really nice. And now Newcastle and Brisbane are open to each other so that’s going to make things so easy.”
“I’m lucky with my job. I can work wherever being a nurse and I’ve been in Newie for many years. I gave Sydney a bit of a shot and I don’t like that either. So I’m ready for a change and Frazer’s worth it.”
