2Day FM breakfast radio show host, Em Rusciano was forced to finish up her segment early due to an emotional outburst.
The show began with Rusciano’s co-host Harley Breen saying “G’day mate!”
Rusciano, sounding upset, cleared her throat and asked, “What are we doing now?”
After brief hesitation, the breakfast show’s anchor said they’d be talking about a “letter from Harley’s teacher”.
The hosts then restarted the segment and after another introduction, Rusciano was silent.
“I can’t do this,” she whispered.
“You alright buddy?” Her co-host asked.
The anchor then said that the hosts would “take a little short break and come back shortly.”
Southern Cross Austereo’s representative explained that Rusciano was “caught off guard” due to a “personal issue”.
